  If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 6, you can check and set your cookie options by going to Tools, Internet Options from your browser main menu.  Within the Internet Options display, please select the Privacy tab.  Within the Web Sites box, select the Edit button. Within the Address of Web Site box, enter the address for the Publix Purchasing site (http://purchasing.publix.com) and select Allow.  Finally, close and restart the browser before accessing the site.

• Download Managers: Due to security settings placed on the documents available through this web site, some download managers—particularly the download manager integrated with MSN 9.0—cannot open these documents. In this situation, either disable the download manager, if possible, or use another browser; e.g., most computers have either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Browser pre-installed that will not have a download manager integrated.
• File Types: All files on this site are provided either in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.doc), or Microsoft Excel (.xls) format.

• Document Library: Documents available in the Document Library section of the vendor home page are for download only; any information filled in must be sent to Publix Purchasing by mail, fax, or e-mail. (See Figure 1 below)
• Questionnaires: Forms available in the Questionnaires section of the vendor home page are interactive; the data is saved directly to a Publix Purchasing database. (See Figure 1 below)
